Porter Fire Department is holding a 5K fundraiser to raise money for replacement dive equipment, upgrades to facility, and training aids and materials. Come out and enjoy a morning with the firefighters! As in previous years, Porter Fire Department is pledging to donate a portion of funds raised to the Warren "Skip" Highwood Memorial Foundation, an organization that awards scholarships to individuals pursuing a career in emergency services as well as annually sponsoring a child to send him/her to Hoosier Burn Camp.
